The day moved from the city to the garden. Joyce and Daniel started in Manhattan, with portraits on the steps of the New York Public Library and in the middle of Fifth Avenue. Later, they took more photos among the palms of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.

They married in the Terrace Room, under tall arched windows and an arch of white and blush flowers.
