Tribeca, Manhattan

Weddings at Tribeca Rooftop

Tribeca Rooftop is an event space above the streets of Tribeca, with Lower Manhattan and One World Trade Center close behind it. We have planned a wedding here with the ceremony on the roof between two arches of pink roses and greenery, portraits in the streets below, and dinner beneath tall arrangements of garden roses, with candles low and tall on every table.

What makes Tribeca Rooftop special

It puts a ceremony in the open air in the middle of Manhattan, and the towers of downtown do the rest. Tribeca’s cobbled streets and cast-iron buildings a few floors below give the portraits a New York that feels both grand and intimate.

Rows of chairs facing two arches of pink roses and greenery, the towers of Lower Manhattan behind the couple, and a cathedral veil running the length of the aisle.

Tall arrangements of garden roses above the tables, candles low and tall, and a dance floor that filled early and stayed full.

The streets of TribecaPortraits

The wedding party crossed the streets for portraits before the ceremony, and the couple found a quiet minute on the sidewalk before walking up to the roof.

What we know that most couples don’t

A roof needs a second plan

An open-air ceremony in Manhattan depends on the weather and the wind. We design the indoor version as fully as the first, and decide on a schedule with the venue.

Load-in in Tribeca

Deliveries go up from a Manhattan street, often through a freight elevator and inside set hours. We plan the order of arrival and build what we can off site, so the installation is finished before the first guest arrives.

Streets and photographs

Portraits in Tribeca look spontaneous and are timed to the minute, with the photographer and the wedding party moving together and the walk back to the roof built into the timeline.

The morning, close by

Getting ready in a suite nearby keeps the morning calm and the drive short. At our wedding, the bridesmaids gathered in blush robes, and the family dog came dressed in black tie.
